After spending parts of three seasons with the A-Adv. Bradenton Marauders, Jose Osuna finally got the call up to Double-A Altoona at the end of May this year.
In a season where the Curve tallied the third-fewest home runs in franchise history, Osuna finished second on the club with eight in just 85 games.
He’s currently back in his home country sharpening his skills this offseason with Bravos de Margarita in the Venezuelan Winter League (along with fellow Pirates farmhand Elias Diaz), where he’s mashed seven homers through 50 games, the third-most in the circuit.
To hold you over until baseball returns to PNG Field in April, buckle up and check out some of these impressive shots (and make sure to turn up the volume on your speakers).
BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!
He’s also been showing off some fine defensive skills.
