DaleSveumSveum keeps the Royals’ line moving during KC’s second straight World Series | Kansas City Star
Former Curve manager Dale Sveum (2001-03) is now the hitting coach for the Royals, and he earned some attention for his unique (and successful) approach to offense during Kansas City’s run to their first World Series title since 1985.

Frazier, Meadows share deep history |
Austin Meadows (2015) and highly-touted Cleveland prospect Clint Frazier were both taken early in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft and share a unique friendship having grown up a few miles apart in Loganville, Ga.

Finalists for Gold Gloves unveiled |
Three Curve alumni have been selected as 2015 Rawlings Gold Glove finalists: left fielder Starling Marte (2011), center fielder Andrew McCutchen (2006-07) and pitcher Gerrit Cole (2012).

SI’s Extra Mustard 
ranked the top 25 MiLB specialty jerseys of the 2015 season, and the Curve landed a pair on the list. The Mr. Rogers jerseys from “A Night in the Neighborhood” were 14th, while the beautiful Star Wars Night “Jabba the Hutt” jerseys ranked third.

Catcher Elias Diaz (2014) won the 2015 Captain’s Catcher Award, an honor handed out by Baseball America to the top defensive catcher in the minors.

JaCoby Jones (2015) made a brief stop in Curve, Pa. before a trade to the Detroit Tigers this summer. He’s been lighting up the Arizona Fall League with the Scottsdale Scorpions.

But if you speak the language (or if your web browser has a solid translator), Zack Dodson (2013-15) talks about his good start in the Venezuelan Winter League with Caribes de Anzoátegui and trying to put a recent off night behind him. (Fun fact: Former Curve Gorkys Hernandez has also played some with Caribes de Anzoátegui this winter.)
