We are back for another edition of This Week in Tweets! Make sure you read until the very end to see if your tweet was this week’s “Tweet of the Week.” The winner this week will receive a signed baseball!
After the league wide day off for Easter, the Curve returned to action on April 21st for the start of a four game home series against the Harrisburg Senators.
To start off the week it seems that we got a new fan… Cam Heyward’s dog?
Our grounds crew even got some love on Twitter this week from Donald.
Brandon Mann took the emergency start for the injured Dodson and he did not disappoint in the Curve’s Game 1 defeat of the Senators 10-1.
Catcher Elias Diaz continued his hot streak from the plate with an impressive game line.
It seems that even our players can’t escape.. well, our players.
Even a little rain couldn’t stop Game 2.
And who doesn’t love a good #StetsonBomb?
ICYMI- Miles Durham has returned to the Curve after playing here in 2012. WTAJ has it covered.
We celebrated Administrative Professionals Day here at the office and give thanks to Carol for everything she does.
It was a chilly one for the 3rd in the series against the Senators, some people needed a little push to get them to the game on Wednesday night.
We are always honored to host our veterans and we are glad that Paul could make it to the game!
Offensive juggernaut, Stetson Allie, lit up the sky with not one, but two #StetsonBombs in back to back at bats. Did we mention one of them was a Grand Slam?
Despite the two bombs from Allie it still took a 4 run bottom of the ninth to claim victory in walk off fashion.
Are we even surprised this happened in the next game?
Mom loves it.
Get your brooms out because the Curve sweep the Senators to get back to .500 on the season.
Off to Quakron we went, we brought along our pun book as well.
The Curve took game one and made it to over .500 for the first time in a year.
More PUNS!!!
Despite the beautiful day, the Curve drop the final two to the Ducks, having the team leave Quackron one game under .500.
The Curve travel to Erie for a four game series with the SeaWolves before they return home on Friday, May 2nd.
Now for the “Tweet of the Week”! This week’s tweet of the week comes from @AnthonyHoey. Future draft pick? We hope Carter had a great time! Please DM us to find out how to get your signed baseball!
